From the appointment to the audit

A guardianship appointment lasts years and ends in an audit. Fidura carries all of it, not just the reporting.

Set up the ward
Record the order, the accounts, the income sources and the opening balances. Every appointment the ward carries sits on one record.

Run the money
Deposits, bills and checks post to the register. Bank statements reconcile it, and the SSI resource cap is tracked as you go.

File the accounting
Each report builds from the reconciled ledger, in the format the court or agency asks for.

Show the work
The record still shows who entered what and when. Filed copies and reconciliation proofs stay attached to the ward.

One register per ward account

Deposits, checks, transfers and fees post with a category, a running balance and the name of whoever entered them.
Load the bank statement and its lines clear the rows they cover. When the account balances, the reconciliation statement is filed to the ward.
Corrections are recorded as voids and keep their history.

Checks print from the register

Record the check and the face fills in — the ward’s name, the capacity you sign in, the payee address, the amount in words and the MICR line.
Sign with a stored facsimile signature, or leave the line blank for wet ink.
Print the whole bill run by fiduciary, in tray order. Each check copy is filed to the ward, and voids stay on the record.
