Common mistakes
Monthly income instead of yearly
Part III asks for a yearly amount for each source. A monthly benefit goes in times 12.
An income gap with no plan
Part VII asks whether income covers the ward’s needs. If it doesn’t, say whether principal is available with a court order.
Assets found after filing
File an amended inventory (Part I has a box for it), and list them on your next G-02 under Part V, question 2.
Your first report
Your first G-02 is due on the first anniversary of appointment. Rule 14.8(a)(2) (opens in a new tab) Its summary starts from “the value of the assets reported on the Inventory”.
